In Poland, your plot in the grave yard is very important. Which cemetary, what flowers, a bench, type of head-stone are a huge deal. The best thing you can have is a grave which goes back generations, and has numerous family members in the next generation looking after it. Visiting the grave is a social as well as spiritual event. Graves look fresh and vibrant, because they get visited often during the year.
